My winter vacation

 

 Hi, thank you for coming this blog!

 It has been almost two weeks since the year 2024 began! Are you off to a good start? I know some of you have had a hard time because of the earthquake or bad weather. I hope you enjoy your days.

 In this time, I would like to share with you some of my most enjoyable memories of winter vacation!

 In January 3rd, I went to Karuizawa in Nagano prefecture to shopping! In Karuizawa, there is one of the largest shopping malls in Japan. The shopping mall has more than two hundred shops! So, You have to stay there all day to see all the stores. I have been there several times and never get tired of it.

 The shoes were what I was going to buy, but I bought many others. The main attraction of shopping malls in Karuizawa is that you can buy various things at low prices! There were many half-priced items when I was there. I was very happy!

  I was hungry after walking a lot, so I ate soba noodles. Soba is one of Nagano's specialties! That is why I always eat soba when I visit Nagano Prefecture.This time, I ate soba with grated yam. It was so delicious!


 It was a great experience for me to be able to buy what I wanted and eat what I wanted!

Starry sky

   Hi, thank you for coming to my blog!   The sun is setting earlier and earlier. The temperature is also getting cooler and cooler, and I feel the arrival of winter.  My favorite thing to do these days is to look at the sky. In winter, when the air is clear, the stars look beautiful!   On Wednesday, I looked up at the sky and saw Orion shining. Orion is a well-known winter constellation. It was especially large and clearly visible on this day. I am not a good photographer, but I did my best. The Orion    Orion was the first constellation I learned. It is easy to find because of its distinctive shape. When I see it, I know that winter is approaching! So I like this time! I encourage everyone to take a look at the night sky! [Unit Project 2] How to make the cookies

   How to make the cookies    Cookies are very popular and reasonable sweets. I like it since I was a child because my grandmother and my mother often make it for me! My grandmother is a teacher of cooking, so she made delicious foods for me. And, I often cook something with her, it is very fun and happy. The first sweets I made with my grandmother was cookies! The cookies are simple, but very taster.  My grandmother had made many kinds of cookies, such as icing cookies and ones needless cutting out. Through these experiences I began to want to make large quantities of cookies at a time. To achieve this, I came up with a no-fuss cookie recipe. This is the recipe I liked best after trying many different recipes! The special day

   Hi, thank you for coming to the blog!  This week was a special week with Christmas and the start of the winter holidays! This made it more enjoyable than usual!  At Christmas I ate a lot of delicious food such as cake and chicken. I was very happy! And, I saw the Christmas tree with my family. It was shining and beautiful!  Then a remarkable event happened at Christmas! That evening dinner was omelette rice so I cracked two eggs to make it. Then, I found one of the eggs has two yolks! I was very surprised! Have you had the same experience? I was very happy because I had never seen it before!  It was a very interesting day with unusual events happening on this special day of Christmas. I was a little sad that Christmas was over so quickly, but it was a very good memory!  The year 2023 is almost over. I want to make the most of every day so that I can do what I want to do.
