[Unit Project 2] How to make the cookies

 How to make the cookies

Cookies are very popular and reasonable sweets. I like it since I was a child because my grandmother and my mother often make it for me! My grandmother is a teacher of cooking, so she made delicious foods for me. And, I often cook something with her, it is very fun and happy. The first sweets I made with my grandmother was cookies! The cookies are simple, but very taster.

My grandmother had made many kinds of cookies, such as icing cookies and ones needless cutting out. Through these experiences I began to want to make large quantities of cookies at a time. To achieve this, I came up with a no-fuss cookie recipe. This is the recipe I liked best after trying many different recipes!

Tools

・Mixing bowl

・Plastic wrap

・Whisk

・Rubber spatula

・Sieve

・Knife

・Parchment paper

・Plate

・Baking sheet

Ingredients (This recipe yields about 30 cookies)

・Cake flour            140g

・Almond powder   20g

・One egg

・Sliced almond      10g

・Granulated sugar    50g

・Vanilla extract         3 drops

・Unsalted butter     100g

・Cocoa powder      10g

Procedures

1. First, sift the flour and the almond powder using the sieve.  And, chop the sliced almond. While these preparations are being made, bring the butter to room temperature.

2. Once the butter is soft, place it in a bowl. And,beat the butter with the whisk, add the sugar, and beat until the mixture turns white.

3. Next, crack the egg and separate the whites from the yolk. And then, add the egg yolk and the vanilla extract into the same bowl, and mixed them well.

4. Add the sifted flour and almond powder to the bowl from 3, and mix with the rubber spatula. When it starts to come together a little, add the cocoa powder and the sliced almond. Then, mix thoroughly until it forms a single mass.

5. Once the dough is well combined, wrap it in plastic wrap. And then, shape into a stick about 3 cm in diameter. Refrigerate the bars made in step 5 for 1 to 2 hours.

6. Remove the dough from the fridge and cut it into 5 mm thick pieces. They are then arranged on the baking sheet lined with the parchment paper.

7. Bake in a preheated oven at 170  for 15 minutes.

8. Finally, cool the baked cookies and place them on a plate!

Making the cookies is not so difficult, so I want you to try it! It is the best recipe for beginner who make sweets first time. This time I made cocoa cookies, but you can use strawberry powder or matcha powder instead of cocoa powder to make different flavor cookies!

The main advantage of this recipe is that it easily makes large quantities of cookies. But not only that, if you make the dough and store it in the refrigerator, you can simply bake the cookies whenever you feel like eating them. Please give these cookies to many family members and friends! They will surely be delighted!

Starry sky

Hi, thank you for coming to my blog!   The sun is setting earlier and earlier. The temperature is also getting cooler and cooler, and I feel the arrival of winter.  My favorite thing to do these days is to look at the sky. In winter, when the air is clear, the stars look beautiful!   On Wednesday, I looked up at the sky and saw Orion shining. Orion is a well-known winter constellation. It was especially large and clearly visible on this day. I am not a good photographer, but I did my best. The Orion    Orion was the first constellation I learned. It is easy to find because of its distinctive shape. When I see it, I know that winter is approaching! So I like this time! I encourage everyone to take a look at the night sky! You will be energized by the shining stars.  Also, I like stories about the constellations! Most are myths, and exciting ones at that. Some of the stories are sad, but all are beautiful. I don't know all the stories about all the constellations and would love to
