edible chrysanthemum

Do you know this plant in above picture? It is a vegetable, not just a flower! These can be eaten as boiled vegetables. It has a bit of bitterness, but is very tasty. Also, the colors are so beautiful that they brighten up the dining table! If you've never had it, you should!

Starry sky

Hi, thank you for coming to my blog!   The sun is setting earlier and earlier. The temperature is also getting cooler and cooler, and I feel the arrival of winter.  My favorite thing to do these days is to look at the sky. In winter, when the air is clear, the stars look beautiful!   On Wednesday, I looked up at the sky and saw Orion shining. Orion is a well-known winter constellation. It was especially large and clearly visible on this day. I am not a good photographer, but I did my best. The Orion    Orion was the first constellation I learned. It is easy to find because of its distinctive shape. When I see it, I know that winter is approaching! So I like this time! I encourage everyone to take a look at the night sky! You will be energized by the shining stars.  Also, I like stories about the constellations! Most are myths, and exciting ones at that. Some of the stories are sad, but all are beautiful. I don't know all the stor...

The special day

Hi, thank you for coming to the blog!  This week was a special week with Christmas and the start of the winter holidays! This made it more enjoyable than usual!  At Christmas I ate a lot of delicious food such as cake and chicken. I was very happy! And, I saw the Christmas tree with my family. It was shining and beautiful!  Then a remarkable event happened at Christmas! That evening dinner was omelette rice so I cracked two eggs to make it. Then, I found one of the eggs has two yolks! I was very surprised! Have you had the same experience? I was very happy because I had never seen it before!  It was a very interesting day with unusual events happening on this special day of Christmas. I was a little sad that Christmas was over so quickly, but it was a very good memory!  The year 2023 is almost over. I want to make the most of every day so that I can do what I want to do. First of all, I will clean my room more carefully than usual! I hope you a...

Winter sports

Hi, thank you for coming to my blog!  Snow is piling up in the mountains and we are starting to see the winter landscape. I would like to share with you some of the things I would like to do this winter!  I like snowboarding the best among winter sports. I started snowboarding because my parents were good at it. I first snowboarded when I was in elementary school. I was very scared at first because until then I had only done sledding down hills.   Snowboarding was very difficult because both feet are fixed to one board, so it was hard to move my feet as I wanted. However, my parents taught me how to move my body. I didn't get good at it on the first day, but as I went to the ski resort many times to practice, I got better and better at it. snowboading  Now I can turn left and right! It's a lot of fun! Last year I was too busy studying for the university entrance exam and could not snowboard even once. That is why I want to go snowboarding a lot this...
